STORM Act Revolving Loan Fund
The Safeguarding Tomorrow through Ongoing Risk Mitigation (STORM) Act Revolving Loan Fund is a federal program administered through the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) that supports hazard mitigation and community resilience.
Nevada’s STORM Revolving Loan Fund is intended to provide low-interest loans to eligible local governments and federally recognized tribal governments for projects that reduce risks from natural hazards and disasters. Eligible projects may address hazards including wildfires, floods, earthquakes, severe weather, drought, shoreline erosion, and other natural hazards.
Public Notice, Intended Use Plan, and Project Proposal List
The Nevada Office of Emergency Management is providing a six-week public notice and comment period regarding Nevada’s intent to apply for FEMA’s STORM Act Capitalization Grant.
Community members, stakeholders, local agencies, and other interested parties are invited to review Nevada’s Public Notice, Intended Use Plan (IUP), and Project Proposal List regarding the planned use of funds and project prioritization framework.
